The course was informative as an introduction to the subject. However, the reading assignment was not well written which made it awkward to comprehend in several areas.

I think it is a great starter course. I have been doing investigations using SM for the past 10 years and this course made me think about a few things to add to my toolbox. Really liked the at my pace learning. Thank you!

This course gives you detailed information on getting information on-line. It has more in-depth information than most people should have. In fact, I would recommend it ONLY for those who are in positions where they can be trusted to use the information safely. This is very sensitive information and could be misused by the wrong people. It is excellent and should be required for anyone in data protection and law enforcement. Every police department in the country should have a cyber division and should be taking these courses - especially this one.

A very well designed course - nice spread of information in the way it is presented (reading assignments and video) especially liked the ability to replay the information as often as I required. The information and steps to perform the learning tasks in the 'real world' allowed me to fully understand the processes and the methods to be successful

Well, I guess my rating is based off of expectation. This is a very basic course that appears to be tailored towards investigators that don't use the social media platforms themselves. The searches are common sense for normal users. Is there a Level 2 course? Something that involves data mining, use of social-searcher.com, etc would be very helpful for those capable of the basics.

The course was incredibly comprehensive. The level of detail went far beyond what I expected...in a very good way. As a security professional and investigator for over 20 years I can say that there was so much I didn't know. I'll be a better investigator and leader as a result. The course consists of a great deal of video and reading assignment, which helped to break it up. While some may know some of the content, it's unlikely that you will take this course and not learn a great deal of new techniques and best practices. Worth every penny.

Great content, broken up with video, reading assignments and practical exercises, which kept it from being dry. Joshua, the facilitator, has a true gift in delivering training content and knows his material very well. For me the course was a nice blend of refresher material and new knowledge, much of which I feel will be very helpful. The videos are done well, professional quality.

The slides & resources were useful in understanding the structure of email & performing basic forensics. I would of like to have seen more about mobile forensics.
