The tremendous value that McAfee Institute provided in this course was beyond my expectations. The pdf manuals that they provide are easily worth the cost of the program. Whenever I had a question or needed assistance the staff always provide top notch customer service. They really do care about you achieving your professional goals and career advancement. Another great value they provide is 24/7 access to your course material. There are times when I am conducting an investigation and I need to refresh my skills on a particular subject. I simply go back to the course, watch the video or review the pdf manuals and the tool I need is available to me. You cannot put a price on this kind of access. I have found a few similar programs but they are limited to one year access. You cannot beat McAfee Institute for value, service and continued access to information. I have completed the Certified Cyber Threat Forensic Investigator (CTFI) course in 2015. I have experienced it as a good generic overview of types of cyber-crimes and how to combat them.

I have taken many courses over the years and this by far is the most organized and streamlined! Any cyber investigative professional would be incomplete in not taking this course. Very informative course.

The exam for the course did cover material that was not covered in the course, however it was general knowledge of rule of law and computer facts and was not too bad. I did miss a couple of those questions. Also, the test had several typos that could be fixed. I do feel that I know more than I did and that is what is important! Thanks!

This was a great course. However, I would recommend a module which covers the establishment of a mis-attrib network and tradecraft for developing undercover personas for LEO. The hand outs are fantastic.

I liked the course as it gave a lot of high overview information about what things can be done and ways things can be done. I will be researching and diving more into the specific areas covered in more detail on my own. If you want an overview of cyber crime activity this is a good course to get to know the terms and how things are approached.

The course shows an overview how mobile forensic can be done. The author knows the field and touches a lot of tools.Perhaps there will be an advanced course.

For investigators who are unfamiliar with TOR, this course offers a great 101 explanation.

This was a really helpful course. While some of the material will be a refresher for those with experience in intelligence or in traditional cyber/IT fields, the content was very thorough and helpful. What I loved most about the course was the actual hands-on exercise in looking for auction fraud, and the great detail provided on preservation of computer evidence for prosecution. Top-notch training. Highly recommended
